Day 1: Building on Something Bigger Than Yourself
Reading: 1 Peter 2:4-5; Ephesians 2:19-22
Devotional: It is easy to reduce faith to a personal transaction -- what God can do for me, what promises belong to me, what blessings I am waiting to receive. But Scripture paints a far grander picture. God is not simply blessing individuals; He is building a kingdom. You are a living stone, placed with intention and purpose into something eternal. Your obedience matters. Your faithfulness matters. Your sacrifice matters. The question worth sitting with today is this: Am I building my life around something bigger than myself, or have I made my faith small enough to fit only my own story?

Day 2: The Coat You Did Not Earn
Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:21; Isaiah 61:10; John 3:19-21
Devotional: Joseph did not earn his father's coat. It was given freely as a visible sign of Jacob's favor. In the same way, the righteousness you wear before God is not your own. It was purchased by Christ on the cross and placed upon you by grace. But that coat will make darkness uncomfortable. Righteous living exposes what the world would rather keep hidden. Do not shrink back from the light God has placed in you in order to keep the peace. You were not clothed in His righteousness to blend in. You were clothed to shine.

Day 3: The Pit Is Not the End
Reading: Genesis 37:23-28; Romans 8:28; Psalm 40:1-3
Devotional: Joseph was stripped, thrown into a pit, and sold by the very people who should have loved him most. From the outside, it looked like abandonment. But God was not absent from the pit. He was working in it. The pit was not the end of Joseph's story; it was the beginning of the next chapter. Whatever pit you find yourself in today -- whether it is a broken relationship, a failed plan, or a season of deep uncertainty -- God has not forgotten you. He is not slow. He is building something, and the pit is part of the process.

Day 4: You Meant Evil, but God Meant Good
Reading: Genesis 50:19-21; Romans 8:31-39; 1 Peter 5:10
Devotional: Joseph looked at the men who had betrayed him and said something that could only come from a heart shaped by God: you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good. That kind of perspective does not come naturally. It is forged in suffering, sustained by faith, and anchored in the belief that God is sovereign over every detail. The people who have wounded you are not outside of God's reach or His plan. He is not surprised by what they did. He is using it. Surrender the offense today and trust the One who redeems all things.

Day 5: The Greater Joseph
Reading: John 1:11-13; Luke 23:33-34; 2 Peter 3:9
Devotional: Joseph's story points beyond itself to Jesus -- rejected by His own, stripped of His garment, sold for silver, handed over to foreign power, and yet raised up by the Father to become the very salvation of those who despised Him. As He hung on the cross, He prayed for the forgiveness of those who put Him there. God's patience with a rebellious world is not weakness; it is mercy. He is giving time for repentance, time for hearts to turn, time for the lost to come home. Do not mistake His patience for indifference. Respond to His kindness today.
